About Us
We had been renting villas and holidaying in the Algarve for more then 30 years and had always day dreamed of owning our "own" villa, and as you may have guessed that dream came true. Both our children who are now grown up still ask "when can we go to Portugal again". This in its self constantly amazes us as we have taken them to so many other countries, but they, like us, are forever drawn back to this wonderfully unique holiday destination, where life's everyday stresses and problems fade into a distant memory as soon as you open the villa door.
We had looked at many different locations around Europe and as far a field as America before finally taking the plunge and going back to where our hearts had been all the time. I think if we were honest with ourselves we were looking for a reason not to choose Portugal, but we just couldn't find anything that we felt gave us everything we wanted in both a home and some where we felt we could escape to and completely unwind. Dunas Douradas was easy to get to and above all a place we actually feel at home and have done since our very first visit 30 years ago.
We are sure that if you choose to stay in our home you also will fall under the spell of the Algarve and will be drawn back time and again !
